The Marine Conservation Club of Walailak University has been nationally recognized for its Green Youth environmental project for the years 2023 and 2024. The project was evaluated and awarded a Gold Medal, the highest honor, at the CCE Children & Youth Forum organized by the Department of Climate Change and Environmental Quality, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment. The event took place from August 28-29, 2024, at the TK Palace and Convention Hotel, Bangkok.
The CCE Children & Youth Forum is a significant platform aimed at enhancing the network of children and youth in collaborative efforts to combat climate change and protect the environment. Representatives from the Marine Conservation Club, including students and faculty, received certificates and plaques recognizing their achievements.
