On Saturday, June 22, 2024, the School of Science organized a ceremony to present lab coats to second-year students in the Science program for the 2024 academic year. This marked the first year that the Science program has provided lab coats for students to use during laboratory sessions and research work. The event, held at Walailak University, was attended by faculty, students, and parents and was part of the celebration of the successful design and production of high-quality, comfortable lab coats for students.
This year’s lab coats were designed and produced by the students themselves, reflecting their creativity and commitment to developing the program and preparing for real-world laboratory and research work. The student involvement in the design process ensured that the lab coats were practical for actual use, with a focus on comfort and safety.
The lab coats presented were designed to be practical for laboratory use, offering enhanced protection against contamination and increased safety. The availability of these lab coats is expected to boost students’ confidence in conducting research and experiments in the lab.
Overall, the lab coat presentation ceremony not only celebrated the success in designing the lab coats but also promoted learning and development within the Science program.
