The School of Science, Walailak University, proudly congratulates Ms. Thanaporn Chimrueang (P’Pim) and Ms. Piyathida Raksaman (P’Keen), undergraduate students in the Bachelor of Science Program in Physics and recipients of the DPST Scholarship, on their selection as Thailand’s representatives for the GSI and DESY Summer Student Program 2025, under the royal initiative of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn.
On May 13, 2025, the students were granted an audience with Her Royal Highness before departing for Germany, where they will join short-term research projects at the following world-renowned institutions between July 22 – September 11, 2025:
GSI Helmholtz Centre for Heavy Ion Research (GSI)
Deutsches Elektronen-Synchrotron (DESY)
