Bachelor of Education Students Participate in Scout Leader Training Program

 

Students from the Bachelor of Education Program, School of Science, Walailak University, participated in the Scout Leader Training Program for Scout Leaders and Senior Scout Leaders: General Knowledge and Basic Training Courses (S.B.T.C. & S.S.B.T.C.), held at Khao Phang Krai School, Hua Sai District, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province.

The opening ceremony was presided over by Asst.Prof.Dr. Pongpan Compan, Acting Associate Dean of the School of Education, who officially opened the training program.

The event was also attended by Assoc.Prof.Dr. Bundit Unyong, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Sarapee Chairat, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Suppawan Promprao, and Dr. Pornthip Lahong, along with associate deans, program heads, and faculty members from the School of Science. They joined the students in the campfire activity at Khao Phang Krai School to show their support and encouragement throughout the program.

Over the course of four days and three nights, the students participated in both theoretical and practical training designed to develop their knowledge and skills in scouting, leadership, teamwork, communication, discipline, and responsibility. A variety of activities, including the campfire session, provided opportunities for students to strengthen team spirit, build unity, and learn collaboratively.

Participation in this training program represents an important opportunity for the students to develop their professional teaching competencies. The knowledge and skills gained can be applied to organizing student development activities and supporting extracurricular learning in schools, while also preparing them for their future roles as professional teachers.
