The School of Science, Walailak University, was delighted to welcome a delegation from the College of Education, West Visayas State University (WVSU), Philippines, under the SEA Teacher Program, an academic exchange initiative that promotes teacher professional development and learning in an international context.
The program provides an important platform for pre-service teachers to gain practical experience and exchange knowledge within diverse educational contexts. Participants have opportunities to learn about education systems, teaching and learning approaches, as well as the social and cultural contexts of both Thailand and the Philippines. These experiences contribute to the development of essential skills and competencies for becoming professional teachers in the 21st century.
On this occasion, the Dean, Associate Deans, Assistant Dean for International Affairs, faculty members, staff, and student buddies from the School of Science warmly welcomed the delegation from West Visayas State University. The visit provided an engaging environment for learning, academic exchange, and cross-cultural interaction among students, faculty, and participants from both institutions.
This visit marks another important step in strengthening academic collaboration, friendship, and educational networks between Thailand and the Philippines, contributing to sustainable international cooperation and the continued development of teacher education.
