On 8 December 2025, the School of Science, Walailak University, organized a Research Funding Information Session on PMU-B Grants, focusing on funding opportunities provided by the Program Management Unit for Human Resources & Institutional Development, Research and Innovation (PMU-B).
The session was led by Associate Professor Dr. Krissanadej Charoensuthasinie, Head of the Research Institute, together with associate deans and faculty members from the School of Science. The School was honored to welcome Associate Professor Dr. Wichitphan Ruangwong, Acting Director of the Institute for Research and Innovation Promotion for Excellence, as the guest speaker. He provided valuable insights and guidance on preparing and submitting research proposals for PMU-B funding.
Faculty members who attended the session gained practical knowledge, techniques, and guidance on preparing research funding proposals. The session also provided a clearer understanding of the overall framework, priorities, and direction of PMU-B funding opportunities, as well as an opportunity to ask questions and receive advice directly from an experienced expert.
The activity was highly beneficial for faculty members interested in applying for PMU-B research funding, helping them strengthen their proposals and enhance their prospects of securing research grants in the future.
