The School of Science, Walailak University, extends its congratulations to Mr. Kittiphop Phimphakan (Alex), a fourth-year student in the Marine Science Program, on being selected as one of four youth representatives from Thailand to participate in the Hitachi Young Leaders Initiative (HYLI) 2026.
The program will be held in Cebu City, the Philippines, from 24–29 May 2026.
The Hitachi Young Leaders Initiative (HYLI) is a regional platform dedicated to nurturing and empowering the next generation of leaders in Asia. The initiative provides young people with opportunities to exchange perspectives, share innovative ideas, and collaboratively explore solutions to key regional challenges through learning and interaction with participants from diverse countries across the region.
Mr. Kittiphop’s selection reflects his knowledge, academic capabilities, potential, and leadership skills, and represents a significant achievement and source of pride for the School of Science and Walailak University.
