On August 2nd – 5th, 2022, lecturer and students in the Department of Chemistry at The School of Science, led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Piyaluk Nurerk, participated in the competition at the Thailand Research Expo 2022 held at Central World, Bangkok, and won gold and silver medals. Innovations in higher education Undergraduate The details are as follows.
1) Gold Medal Award: Ms. Suppawan Sillapawisut, a 4th-year student in Chemistry with research on the topic “Syringe Extraction Device for Aromatic Contaminants in Water” with Asst. Prof. Dr. Piyaluk Nurerk as an advisor.
2) Silver Medal Award: Ms. Natchaya Malarat, Graduate of the Chemistry Department with research on the topic “Cation of Electrochemical Sensor Using Activated Carb Gold Nanoparticles for Methylparaben Detection” was a research study conducted by a student studying. In the computational chemistry major, with Asst. Prof. Dr. Sujittra Poorahong as advisor and Asst. Prof. Dr. Kochaphan Kanchana as a participant in the project
