Academia Sinica Grid Computing Center (ASGC) invited Assoc. Prof. Dr. Krisanadej Jaroensutasinee, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mullica Jaroensutasinee, and two Ph.D students from Computational Science Graduate Program (Sirirat Somchuea, and Piyatida Boonsanong) to join the 2018 workshop on joint monitoring of Asian Soundscape on 29-30 May 2018 at Academia Sinica, Taipei, Taiwan. Long term monitoring soundscape is crucial for biodiversity conservation. These big data challenge for archiving, visualizing, analyzing and sharing. Open platform on storage and computing may be an effective way to solve these challenges.
