On January 12, 2024, faculty members from the Department of Biology, Faculty of Science, Walailak University traveled to the School of Biological Sciences, Universiti Sains Malaysia, Malaysia, to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two institutions.
The MoU aims to enhance international collaboration in the field of biological research, facilitate student exchanges, offer short-term research training, and organize activities to promote biological skills for students from both institutions.
The signing ceremony was represented by Assistant Professor Dr. Jariya Sakayaroje and Associate Professor Dr. Phichayapak Wintachai from Walailak University, and by Professor Dato’ Dr. Amirul Al-Ashraf Abdullah and Professor Dr. Latiffah Zakaria from Universiti Sains Malaysia.
