Dr.Phitchayapak Wintachai
My interest centres on understanding infectious disease processes through the application of modern tools of molecular and cell analysis: [read more=”More”  less=”Less”]bacteriophage, molecular virology, and drug discovery. [/read]
Dr.Jariya Sakayaroj
My research interests include diversity, systematic and ecological studies of microbes, especially fungi and protists from natural habitats. [read more=”More”  less=”Less”]The knowledge gained will be greatly available for further applications including bioactive compounds for natural product research and high-value fatty acids for agricultural and industrial applications. [/read]
Dr.Pimchanok Pimton
My research interests lie in the area of cellular tissue engineering and regenerative medicine, which involves the integration of cell and[read more=”More”  less=”Less”]molecular biology with biomaterials to create tissue equivalent for replacement or regeneration of diseased or damaged tissues, organs, and cells. I am also interested in stem cell and development. Additionally, I am currently working on mathematical modelling of stem cell differentiation, bone and cartilage differentiation, and the application of cold atmospheric plasma in cell biology and medicine such as apoptosis and cancer treatment. [/read]
 Dr.Pakpimol Ungcharoenwiwat
My research interest is in the field of microbial and enzyme technology. I am currently working on an investigation of antimicrobial activity [read more=”More”  less=”Less”]from medicinal plants, screening enzyme-producing microorganisms and bioactive compounds, waste utilization and applications in industry. [/read]

Assoc. Prof. Dr.Mullica Jaroensutasinee
My research interests are on animal behaviour emphasizing on sexual selection in guppies, Siamese fighting fish,[read more=”More”  less=”Less”] croaking gourami and fiddler crabs. Various factors have been explored how females choose males as mates e.g. body size, size of bubble nest, residency, operational sex ratio, population density, burrow characteristics, original/regenerated claws and etc. More to explore, awaiting to discover. [/read]
Assoc. Prof. Dr.Mullica Jaroensutasinee
How seeds disperse in the tropical rain forests and how tropical plants recruit their new seedlings are [read more=”More”  less=”Less”]essential processes. We study Parah trees with heavy harvested by local villages during a mast fruiting season as a model to study tree recruitment in the tropical rain forest ecosystem. [/read]
Asst.Prof.Dr. Phuwadol Bangrak
My research interests are in the areas of biochemistry, molecular biology and biotechnology which involves in cloning and heterologous proteins[read more=”More”  less=”Less”] expression in Escherichia coli and Pichia pastoris in order to investigate plant protease inhibitors that exhibit anti-carcinogenic activity or anti-proliferative activity on the cancer cell. I am also interested in marine microalgae produced long chain fatty acids and squalene to apply in aquaculture and human supplements. In addition, I am currently working with my colleagues on sports sciences which focus on gene polymorphisms and muscle performance in Muay Thai. [/read]
 Asst.Prof.Dr.Udomsak Darumas
My research interests lie in the area of field ecology and how marine sessile organisms[read more=”More”  less=”Less”]due with their associated organisms. I am also interested in seagrasses cultivation by mean of synchronizing with natural rhythm.[/read]

Dr.Naparat Suttidate
In my research, I try to understand how species respond to a changing environment. My research advances the application of [read more=”More”  less=”Less”]satellite data, ecological modelling, and Geographic Information System (GIS) to assess current patterns of, and predict future changes in, species distribution and abundance for terrestrial mammals in tropical regions with the goal of protecting biodiversity and the ecosystem services that sustain human well-being. Currently, my colleagues and I integrate species distributions, conservation status, and reproductive technologies to conserve large mammals in Thailand. [/read]
 Asst.Prof.Dr. Maruay Mekanawakul
My research interest lies in the field of Plant Taxonomy, especially species of Palms and Cycads. Morphology, [read more=”More”  less=”Less”]palynology and molecular data are used to study their species and genetic diversity. Ecology of the plants is also noted. [/read]

Asst.Prof.Dr. Chatchai Kanlayanapaphon
My research interest is in the plant family Zingiberaceae or gingers family. Its diversity, phylogeny, pollination, palynology and uses are of interests, [read more=”More”  less=”Less”]especially species found in Southern Thailand. Molecular data is also used to study its genetic diversity and produce phylogenetic trees. Field works and lab works are both important in my study. [/read]
